With all due respect, what's special about an ERTL? I've never seen one sell for much more than 1/3 of your asking price. GMP? Sure. ERTL? Not so much.

Color and availability. Currently OOP and black is not readily available. Purple, silver, yellow are common. Check Ebay or Diecast forums. Black is not seen for resale. Where listed tends to be OOP.

BTW, ERTL is out of the 1/18 business. There will no more ERTL 1/18 GTOs

Oh, I don't know. I don't really do Diecast forums. I'm just going by what I see. If ERTL is out of the 1/18 business then all colors would be OOP, just like the GMP GTO's, right? I'm still seeing the ERTL's for much less than you are asking, including black.

You must be directing that to newgto-owner? All I did was ask a question and give an opinion based on your answer. I have the same black 2004 ERTL that you just sold as well as the blue one and I paid less than 1/3 of what you sold yours for. And I mention that only for comparison. I really could care less what some anonymous individual (which is what we all are to each other here) gets for his, I didn't buy it. seems like felix65 from ebay didn't get any bids and was asking $49.99....good thing felix c. managed to sell it here for $75 !!
