Is the side exhaust going to be street legal?

Looks like some nice stuff. :) The subtle accent stripe is very cool!

Any plans for a non-retro ram air hood? It's just me but on a non-retro design car, a more modern hood would look more appropriate. Maybe just one center Camaro SS-like scope.

Also, in looking at the routing of the side exit exhaust, will this just be a visual system like the Roush one for the Mustang? Performance-wise, it looks like it will be a compromise to route it that way.

Awesome parts. The lip spoiler on the rear is way cool, and so is that chin spoiler on the front. The subtle retro stripe looks real good on that orange car. Can't say I would go for the leaf blower exhaust, but you folks are on the way to selling some serious parts. Keep it up. Great stuff :D

The hood was never ment to be a retro design and it will be functional. The accent stripe and 69 style rear spoiler are a different story. Our second hood will be coming shortly.

The side exit exhaust will not compromise any peformance at all and should improve flow. it's not ment to be just a cosmetic add on. The complete exhaust design will shown very soon along with another exhaust system that will exit on both sides behind the rear tires.

Will the exhaust pieces be 50-state legal? Living in california is like living in a living nightmare.

:dribble: This works for me. Some retro styling is just what the doctor ordered. Now this is a GTO!

:flush: Front end needs to go, I like the stripe and retro spoiler though. But any type of hoodscoop on the front end isn't going to look good and will totally ruin the lines of the car, I think maybe a cowl hood might look best with the car lines but it would have to be done properlly.

Good. The Roush exhaust routes out of the mufflers in the stock location, does a hard u-turn, and exits out the sides. Not only does it add unnecessary weight, it actually hurts power as proven on a dyno.

In looking at the underside GTO exhaust shots, if the mufflers were kept in the same location, the routing would almost be the same.

Something like this would be nice also. For those who like the more subtle took of the monaro with functional hood scoop. http://69.56.135.118/~hrt433/concept/hrt427/images/thumbs/front.gif

Incorporating the pontiac grill with this front would be perfect for me

Any hood scoops aren't going to look right, they dont on the old grand prixs, and they won't on the GTO. The hood is just to short/small. The old GTO hood was much larger and flater, so it worked. Even the fbody had a more usable hood then the GTO does. Just the deminsions and angle it's at make any hood scoops look like crap. They just don't follow the flow of the car.

:dribble: Oh yeah... me likey... the side exhaust/skirting is beautiful, the lip spoiler is also really nice! I like what you're doing with this car!

I'm getting one soon, and I'm excited about all the work you guys are doing! I like to imagine getting a Magnacharger, but gas miles are bad already... with one, it'd be even worse... and dang, this car is way fast enough stock already...

Quick question: The side exhaust... can it be used in conjunction with the stock mufflers? It's loud already, and I wouldn't want to put mufflers on that would make daily driving loud and unbearable. I have a flowmaster 80 now, and it can get loud and drony on the highway.

Will the side skirts and the piping from the muffler back be sold separately?

Thank you,
Leon

Can anyone make a photo of a cowl hood?
I wonder if a cowl hood would look better on the GTO?

Howie....awesome pictures and products! Keep them coming! Cjlannoy....that car is also great looking! I don't care much for the stock GTO look but both of your pictures give me optimism since I am one of "those" people that like a little retro with the new technology.

I'm not diggin any of those hoods, i mean yeah they look good but not my taste. I would prefer the big duel cowl ram air hood like I have on my grand am, which is the same scoop on the trans am. I'd like to see a chop of that :)
