4th gto 11-18-2003, 06:30 PM Commissar,I only live 50 miles from you in Ohio I have a Silver/black 6pd with a TPW of 11-24. Have you got one ordered?
Commissar 11-18-2003, 08:15 PM unfortunately no :(. If I did this would be the dealership. I just got out of college, I plan on paying off my truck next year (doubling up on payments), and then save up until I turn 25 and buy myself a nice b-day present when my insurance rates drop! Hopefully GM wont inflate the price by then.... Doubling up on my payments will also let me know what to expect when I purchase the goat, so if I am pleased with my finances my goat may come earlier!
Howie 11-18-2003, 09:24 PM Opening bid is MSRP, should be interesting to see what it ends up at. I have a feeling this is only the beginning!
Fully optioned AND a 6 speed!!!
Gaijin 11-19-2003, 04:09 AM They're all fully optioned...the Manual is the only option.
Thanks for that  ;)
NASA43 11-19-2003, 09:16 AM How is this auction any different from the others? The car is not on the lot yet, in fact, with a TPW of 11/24, it probably won't be at the dealer until February. All the auctions are probably based on real order numbers. Did you see that a Georgia dealer on ebay has their bidding up to $12,600 for the "right to buy" a GTO? Someone is either confused or insane.

This auction is different because it is for the car, it is not a fee on top of a car.
WOW bidding ended at MSRP!! Those people who are bidding $12k for a right to buy one must be feeling pretty bad right now!

Well, it really is the same considering the bidding started at MSRP. It just so happens only one person bid on it.
He scared people off by starting the bidding at MSRP.
NASA43 11-19-2003, 06:38 PM The minimum starting bid was $33,190. Go back and look at the ebay page.
