I just bought a blue 04 gto with 950 miles on it. I was wondering what bolt ons add the biggest bang for the buck. Exhaust, intake, exc.

Congrats! I'm blown away, just 950 miles???

Consensus for bang for the buck is long tube headers. Also if yours is a manual, ditching the stock shifter for something less sloppy.

How about some pics? :)

ya i live in austin tx and its from alaska and the guy that owned it had 12 cars and he died and this was one, i had a wrx but i needed american muscle , even though its built in austraila. ya i was looking at the hurst shifter, it is a 6 speed. i was also looking at the k&n typhoon think that is a good idea? the only complaint i have about the gto is no mp3 player jack for my iphone but that is so small its really no big deal. i love the car and i cant wait to start working on it.

There is a guy on another board that will modify your stock head unit with an aux. jack letting you use MP3's. I think there may even be a writeup on it on how to do it. Haven't done it myself as I don't listen to that much music. Wonder what other cars this fella had ?

I have a predator tuner that I have up for sale, I noticed a considerable differance when I had it installed on my 04.

I posted pictures of my car. They r Pontiac but not the stock 5 spoke. How much do you want for the tuner?

They r Pontiac but not the stock 5 spoke.

They appear to be the MC2 wheels offered by GM for the GTO. Kinda like aftermarket but through the dealer/GM. I remember seeing a set on an '05 that was on display at the 2005 GTOAA national meet. Even took a picture, I'll see if I can find it. They are fairly rare as not many were made, and they were not a factory option. I also seem to recall some people having breakage issues with these rims. Specifically the spokes cracking right off the rims. You may just want to give them a close inspection for any signs of cracking. Hope that helps. :)
