My dealer called me on my cell phone tonight and informed me that my GTO has been built. He called the Dealer Service Center and confirmed this. Now if only I could find out which boat it's on and when.

Excellent news. I think that will give a lot of other people confidence that their GTOs have been built and are on their way. Our TPWs are probably correct, GM just isn't moving orders to manufactured status.

I hope my sled is in California, getting ready to make its trip home. Here boy, here boy.......good GTO. :D

What was your TPW and did it change at all during the process? Could your dealer confirm that it had been shipped? Just curious for very obvious reasons.

My TPW is/was 11/3 and hasn't moved. I was nervous because I had not updated from 3100 to 3300. Dealer confirmed with DSC that car was in fact already built. Can't confirm ship date so I may be sitting in CA or in the yard in AUS. No way to know at this point.

the dealers around here that i have talked to either are not getting any info or are just stupid, they keep tellin me production has been delayed and they wont be recieving theirs untill late january! :bs: mabie i should show them the production photos next time of them going on the boats!!! :angry:

HSV_255gto - I wouldn't be that hard on the dealerships. 1) They are probably selling one or two cars each, so it isn't worth really looking into it for them. 2) While the production isn't delayed, they are probably correct in the fact that their allotments of cars won't be in until late January. I preordered mid-August and that's when I expect my car.
