Got the Monaro style taillamps installed on the 04' PBM today. It was snowing this morning and I said, "Mother Nature can kiss the lower backside of my body!" --and I drove to work, put the taillamps in, and they look really good. Got the advice to get these to finish the "murdered out" look of the car. Put mostly LED bulbs into the lights except the turn signals. I assume these taillamps are the same as double "O"s. I'll get some pics taken if the sun ever comes back to visit our neck of the woods.

Not meaning to hi-jack the thread, but just made it home from the NHRA O'Reilly Spring Nationals in Texas. It had to be the best year ever in the sense that we were there for the races on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

As an aside we are friends with Steve Kent of Kent Services who sponsor two Pro Stock cars, one of which was piloted by Steve Kent. This was his first effort in the class and qualified #16. He was taken down in the 1st round by the #1 qualifier...loss by approximately 16-inches.

The driver of the other Kent Services car, Roger Brogdon, ended losing in the finals by approximately 6". It was a close race.

All in all, much fun (and lot of beer) was had by all. Wish you guys could have been there. Oh, after the races got to take pictures with, and talk to Greg Anderson about the fact that there is no more Pontiac and asked what that meant to the drivers currently running them. Greg mentioned that he has an '05 PBM GTO with red interior...has less than 600 miles on it. Very nice guy.

He needs to start driving that 05 or sell it to you with a nice discount. The family and I moved into our new home this last week so it's been hell. I'll get those pics, as I stated earlier, if the weather ever stops being stupid. Isaw snow flakes again yesterday morning and the temp never got above 42 today. I think I'll take a warm bath and slit my wrist. Goodbye cruel world.

Freakin' crazy weather...here in Louisiana we are in the mid-40s this morning. Uh, hello? This is the month of May. WTF!?

I hear ya. F@#$in snowed again yesterday(very lightly) morning and got up to 45 degrees. Today, 65 and sunny and no clouds in sight. Waited til the end of work day, 6pm, and pulled the goat into shop. Wiped it all down, shined up the wheels and tires, drove it home. Parked it in the garage with the car cover on it around 8pm. Got the camera ready for tomorrow and now they changed the forecast to all rain next 2-3 days. If there is a God, he is laughing at me. Just me, nobody else.
