I read somwhere that Holden are considering bringing back the Torana.
I for one reckon that would be a huge hit -. that is, a compact rear wheel drive competitor to the BMW 3 series/Lexus IS300. Imagine either a V6 or an LS1 in a light compact body at 2/3 the price of the BMW 318i !
Does anybody know anthing more about the new Torana?

I was talking to a Holden salesman the other day who told me that the vectra wasnt selling well and that Holden was looking atthe Torana as the mid sized aussie built vectra replacment. HMM the sound of a mid sized car with the LS2 would make a few people sit up and listen. :blink:

Yeah, I have a test drive of the Vectra and it goes nice, but it's FWD and for
$AU 50,000 on the road, they're DREAMIN'
