6 speed auto swap in 06 GTO

I have a 06 GTO with a four speed auto, but would like to swap a six speed auto with paddle shift (like the 07 Corvette) into my car. I've driven this in the Corvette and it is really sweet. The Vette has a transaxle, so it is out for a swap. Anybody working on one of these?

doubtful, you would need to swap the transmission *assuming it will even fit* rig up the drivetrain, then factor in the electronics which won't connect up, and the paddles which won't install easily.

It CAN be done, but the money you spend will be never be recouped in gas savings if that is what your thinking. It might be more feasible without the paddles though.
