What do you mean "chipped"? Even using ricer math would make it difficult to achieve 400 BHP. I am thinking that one would require heads and cam or some form of forced induction to hit 400 Hp at the rear wheels with an LS1. Stock, with a manual transmission, the '04 GTO makes somewhere in the neighborhood of 290-300 rwhp.

I'm pretty sure my 04 with K&N CAI w/ functional Ram Air hood and my Corsa exhaust is not putting out that kind of RWHP.
I don't know what you mean by "chipped" but I can't imagine that you're getting that kind of HP.

Maybe he means 400 flywheel horsepower, although I think that would be pushing it with an intake, exhaust and a tune (I'm guessing that's what he means by chipped).
