Thumbs up King 0 drop rear springs and rear shocks are in

Finally had my King 0 drop rear springs installed today as well as new Monroe Sensa-Trac rear shocks. From first impression of driving it back home after the install is that the rear feels a tad bit tighter. It definitely sits higher in back as the stock rear springs were sagging. I'll post up rear ride heights later in this thread, before and after. There is now only a slight hint of rear end squat when shifting from N into D. (Remember I'm an automatic). Stock the rear would squat noticeably. Rear ride doesn't seem to have suffered much on first impression. In fact it actually feels a little smoother on flat road surfaces. (That could be the new shocks). Over frost heaves, tracks and bumps I can tell the rear springs are tighter and stiffer. I'm looking forward to making a few launches to see if it cuts down on wheelspin/hop. Problem is it's still snowing and the roads are salty as $hit. Speaking of that NO PICTURES while the car looks like a salty beast. I flipping HATE road salt. So on first impression I'm satisfied with this spring and shock combo.

OK, here's the measurements in the rear before and after.

Before Pass: 594mm Driv: 586mm
After Pass: 606mm Driv: 600mm

Driver side is still lower than the passenger by a small amount. Must be something else in the rear suspension worn more on the drivers side. Regardless with my front stock springs sagging, it does have a nice raked look to it.

Not when I have your company sweetpea.

Actually I was just posting up the ride heights that I mentioned in the first thread but hadn't posted yet because I hadn't made the measurements yet.

Besides I can't think of a much lonelier place than BM Nevada anyway.

Does that come with the STD or is it extra cost?

Couldn't resist. Good old Nevada, whatever you want is for sale.

Of course there is all that buried depleted uranium too.

I am just wondering what you think of your springs and shocks now after owening them awhile? I am looking to keep my rear the same height if not alittle higher, but want to improve my traction as much as possible.

Ride quality is the same as when they were installed. Ride height is the same as well. About 6K miles on them since install and no problems. I also like the stance it provides. I'm a fan of rake. I'll probably be doing front struts, springs, radius rod bushings and strut mount bushings sometime within the next year or so. But so far no problems yet. (Knock on wood)

Im going through some suspension changes right now too. Just received Lovells Gas legend all around with Lovells 20mm drop springs all around. New tie rod ends, and enlinks. Pedders stut mount bushes and bearings. Got the Lovells stuff from Kollar Racing and the Pedders through Victory racing. I went with Toyo T1R, 245/40/17 front and 265/40/17 rear. I plan on having the rear fenders rolled when I get the alignment at the dealership.

I also purchased a set of Hotchkis sways, if I ever get them. I went through HP Autoworks, not getting a good feeling about it either.

Install next weekend, definately looking forward to it.
