I've had this done for quite awhile. You can do it without taking anything out. Just pull the top push pin on the driver's side cover in the trunk. Reach for the "knob" and turn it to your liking. Definitely helps the stock radio.

It won't get too bassy but it makes a difference :)

04GOATGERM 04-01-2005 07:23 PM

Thanks guys, I'll try it in the morning. ;)

HELP!

Look at Robs post above.

You have to pull the carpet away in the trunk to find the amp...then turn the knob up.

fastgoat 04-02-2005 08:17 AM

I looked in my trunk. I don't see any amp. Any help would be great.

Rob 04-02-2005 08:58 AM

Its behind the carpeted cover on the driver's side. Its mounted to a brace behind the quarter panel. Take off the push pin and reach behind the cover. You'll find it. Its a box and you'll feel the knob. Turn it one way and then the other to get where you like it.

Really only takes a matter of minutes to do. Makes a pretty decent difference :)
