Yawp, GXP is also debuting, LS3 powered and a 6 speed manual are the big highlights.

I love the ST though, I don't understand the bowtie fanboys though, it is like they have to have a copy of every single thing that comes out.

Yes I would, especially if there will be a GXP version of the ST. I use my '76 for various light hauling chores. I'd love to have a reliable, new Ute that could also be a daily driver that also has the handling characteristics of a car not a truck. I don't need a truck, I don't want a truck. I'm never going to haul a travel trailer/large boat/etc. I hate the handling characteristics of trucks. On top of that they are hard on gas.

As for the G8 GXP it is also a go as Nocturn says. I am disappointed that they state the LS3 has only 402 HP. Hell the LS2 had 400 and it was only 6.0 liters vs. 6.2 for the LS3. I'm hoping that is preliminary BS data.

Agreed. I think it is an inadequency issue.

why am i not surprised that mechanic doesn't like it? lol btw orbit did you check out the pictures i took at sema this past november? they had the previous model the racing version there, check it out, wondering if you had been a fan of the car since the begining or you just like the new redesign?

I was gagging at the Ute. I simply canNOT understand how any could find that car even remotely attractive. I have a '94 Corrola that I don't think I'd trade for it, even up, if I had to keep it and drive it. lol.

There is the point. I'd rather stab myself in the leg than even have to look at a Corolla. Different strokes for different folks.

Which vehicle are you referring to?

Yep I liked the old VZ Ute as well. I think the VE Ute (this newest one) looks better though. That last pic is just wrong. :barf:

Thanks for reminding me though.

It's not your photography, it's the subject. Australian RICE is FTL.
