Mine was a 1987 Mercury Cougar V6. It was actually pretty s***ty to be honest. Then I got a 1979 Firebird Formula. It was a neat car...had the TA ground effects kit with the twin nostril Formula Hood. It also had a warmed over Pontiac 400 engine and TH 400 trans from a 1971 GTO...so it was a bird with the heart of a Goat. I really regret getting rid of it to be honest.

All in all I have had like 14 cars

Whatabout everyone else?

'76 Ford Torino. Bought for like 600 bucks. Beat the piss outta it for 4 months, and it loved every minute of it. All it asked for was a quart of oil a week!

My first car was a 1980 302 Firebird. It was a P.O.S.! but it was mine

I have had several since then, But my 3 favorate in this order are

1999 Corvette Converty (Traded for a stroller)
2004 Pontiac GTO - I like this car a lot. But just not quite as much as the Vette.
2002 Chevy Avalanche (Traded for a better MPG vehicle - My 2004 Vibe)

70 challenger, it was a machanical nightmare at first, not to mention blue crushed velvet, but after a lot of time and money it became something half decent.

Mine was a 85' Tercel wagon. There was also a 87 Supra for sale, but my parents figured I would kill myself driving that car. That car was so f*cked up man! I had to put the car in neutral before I stopped or it would cut off on me.

paid 100 bucks, had it 10 months. In that time I replaced the 4 wheeled DRUM breaks twice, the car would not stay running, had to drive with 2 feet. The passenger seat was broke and I had to stick a rope out of the door to hold it up. I had to lift the door to close it. Finally, I jacked up the car to replace a flat tire in the back, and the bumper fell off.

63 Chrysler Newport (I'm showing my age). "Typewriter" transmission, square steering wheel, 361 (265 HP if I remember). $500, drove it for 2 years and 35,000 miles and sold it for $500 when I went to 'Nam.

'64 Impala SS,
loved tha car too. It would do 60 in 1st gear. 327 engine w/275 hp. Yellow w/black bucket seats and 'foe on da flow'. Had it jacked up, (cool at the time) 50's on the rear, 35's on the front, and crome reverse wheels all around. I would drive around town with my arm so far out the window, that my knuckels would s****e the ground. B) Took it to work one night, (security gaurd at a construction site), and some fool came out of the parking lot across the street to fast and hit my car, pushing the right front finder back about 4 ". I was upset, but I was determined to find someone to bang it out. I took it over to my grandmothers house and drove my mom's car to work the next night. While there, a drunk came along and smashed into my Impala head on, totaling the car. I cried like a baby.

79 Grand Prix with a 301...golden brown. My friends called it the sh!t streak.

Car was 14 years old when I bought it, I was 16, but low miles and in near mint condition.

NOT a fast V8, just sucked down the gas.

I was a good start though, as I've never owned anything other than a GM V8.

My first drive was a 1982 Corolla... which was the slowest thing on the road. Slow, but it ran well. Totalled that one after being rear ended.

Other rides...
1993 Grand Am
1999 Grand AM GT
1999 3000 GT
1998 Corvette (My personal favorite, wiped out at 60MPH. $25,000 in damage)
2001 Cavalier
2003 Grand AM SC/T
2004 GTO with my Mitsi Montero for bad weather days.
