You are just talking about the guages correct?
The guage pod I believe is angled to the righthand side (their driver our passenger) and would look awkward in the GTO.
I like the look of those guages though. I've got to check that site out. I'm not sure I'd want to pay the shipping though from OZ. Do you have a price on the guages and shipping?
I would think that if these are for the Monaro that there would be little if any problem having them installed in our GTO's.
Anyone else?

I also just noticed something else.
The voltmeter of course reads in volts but what exactly is that oil pressure guage reading in?
Here in the US it should be psi and I would think the guage should read up to 80 or 90 psi. I'm not sure what the metric unit for pressure is. Is it kiloPascals??? kPA???
All I know is if it reads up to 5, 5psi of oil pressure is pitifully low.
Maybe our Aussie members could help us out here.

I've already emailed JHP and these are for the GTO. $450 US shipped to your door.

I thought they pointed the WRONG way?
That would look very silly IMHO

This is a LHD dash pod for the GTO. The gauges are available in other colors and match the factory cluster (i.e. needles, illumination). They plug directly into the factory wiring in our cars and need no additional programming.
Orbit, I'm not sure about the oil pressure gauge, I would assume they do come in PSI, I mean, if they figured out to angle the pod for LHD, surely they wouldn't leave them in metric. I have emailed JHP and asked if it comes in PSI and will re-post as soon as I find out.
$450 isn't cheap, but IMHO this is the best looking (as far as stock appearance) option I've seen to add oil/volt gauges. If they do come in PSI and volts, I'll be ordering mine very soon.

I believe the pressure gauge is in kg/cm2 since 60 psi is about 4.2 kg/cm2. The range of 1-5 (14.2-71.1 psi) sounds about right. FYI

I noticed something on their site that said for 2005 GTO only, 2004 not yet available???
I'd think it would be the other way around. Please do share the information when it becomes available to you. Thank you. I'd really love to have a factory appearing guage pod with these in the blue which I believe I saw.
450 bucks isn't outrageous. AP's pod runs right at 140 bucks unpainted then you have to get guages. Cheapies at 50 bucks apiece would run you up to 250 bucks and you would still have to paint the pod and the guages wouldn't be color matched. Shipping from down under has to be a big wad of cash anyway. Let us know.

OK, just found out they do not come in psi, only atmospheric pressure, which I
believe is BAR. 1 atmosphere=mean level sea pressure, or ~14.7 psi. So I guess idle would be in the 2.75~3 range (40-45 psi) and cruising should run 3.5~4 (51-58 psi). Does this sound about right? I wish they came in the more familiar psi format, but I like the fact that these are factory matching gauges and will probably still get them.
I saw the note about not working on the 04 GTO, but I didn't think to ask why. I don't think $450 is outrageous, in fact, I think Autometer gauges run around $200 for just an oil pressure gauge. I didn't even check on Stewart-Warner. But I do think it is a significant amount for a relatively small mod. I figure some guys will like the look and others won't see the point. Again, $450 to your door, in my case SC, I would guess shipping in the $40-75 range, can't be a very big box. At any rate, it's gonna take some getting used to, watching my car idle around '3'.

The '05s have the harness in the area where the gauge pod goes, '04s don't have the harness so you would have to tap/splice into the main wiring harness.
