Mine was a '65 GTO, 389 4 barrel 4 speed. It was pretty tired when I got it but sure loved that body style. My '04 GTO is a superior automobile in every respect to my '65. I'd really like to drive an '05 just to compare the difference in engine & braking to the '04.

'63 Tempest 4 Door, 4-Banger - Glide. Then, '60 Ventura. Then, 67 GTO. More Pontiacs and GTO's after that -including LeMans', Fiero, and GP's.

Flat towed a '64 GTO from Nevada to Ohio with my '67. That was an experience I do not wish to repeat - even though I had metallic shoes on the '67, it still would not stop.

The '64 Goat was built for the drag strip.

67 Chevelle, 2 door hardtop-the last thing I remember about the car was
crawling out the pass side window while it was resting on its roof

My first car was a 1987 Nissan Sentra Coupe XE. I wish I could post a picture of one, because most people have the wrong car in mind. The sport coupe was only made a couple years, I believe. Anyway, it was a hand-me-down from my dad.
From there, I purchased a 1993 GMC Sonoma SLE (in May of '95). It was a great truck. 2.8L V6. I traded it in (125,000 miles on the odometer) on the 1998 Bright Green Metallic Camaro (3.8L V6). My first brand new car. In April of 2003 I bought a second vehicle. A 2003 S10 single cab. It was loaded. ZQ8 suspension, 4.3L, power everything, etc. Sadly, in March of 2004 my Camaro was stolen. I drove the S10 until I traded it in on the GTO last October.
So, to sum it all up, I've progressed with each new vehicle:

1987 Nissan Sentra - 1.6L 4-cylinder
1993 GMC Sonoma - 2.8L V6
1998 Chevrolet Camaro - 3.8L V6
2003 Chevrolet S10 - 4.3L V6
2004 Pontiac GTO - 5.7L V8

$50 Chevy Vega. Not even a GT! Possibly the slowest car in the world as it was an automatic, burdened with the weight of of A/C but without the benifit of actual cool air. Had a short in the electric switch that dad fixed by installing a starter button on the dash. Should have seen the driver examiner's face when I began my road test by pushing the lighter button to start the car.
Drove it for a year, and did not bend it up, so I was allowed to sell it and upgrade to a '64 Impala SS. Such began my obsession with full size performance.

1997 Sunfire. It is still running strong but my brother is driving it. If only he would do the maintenance needed on it I could tell you that after 120K later it runs like a dream. Oh well.
