A4 Launch

I'm taking my 2005 GTO to the strip Sunday. 1st time. It has the A4 trans. I have some bolt on mods. JBA shorties, mids and CAI plus Diablo canned 91 octane tune. I have Falken Street tires and stock suspension. I read a few things on it and I will write those below and if any one has anything to add I'd appreciate it. Thanks in Advance !

1. Run with at the most half tank of fuel.
2. Air down Rear to around 25lbs. Can also add some to front tires.
3. Find my stall by pressing throttle while braking.
4. Stay out of water box. Do one burn out to season the tires.
5. Pull up to tree and barely set the light.
6. Brake and Rev until hitting RPM stall range let off a little just before launch.
7. During launch give about 3/4 throttle until you feel the convertor lock and then mash it.

Any do's or don't ? Thanks

Take a look around this site.......don't expect any kind of useful response. This site died about three years ago and is pretty much inhabited by spambots now.

Yeah I had begun to realize that here of late. I've been using LS2GTO with a lot better results. Thanks
