Bogging Down

Why does my car bog down in first gear?
Would to not enough back flow pressure be the cause?
I can throttle out of it but it is very annoying.
Total loss of power, like its a four cylinder.
Never happens in second or higher gears.
Sounds like the exhaust is trapped in a loop or something like that.
Thanks for your help...

it's not due to lack of back pressure. it most likely is in the tune. i'll tell you to get it tuned at a good speed shop but they are hard to find. a lot of the tuning shops do a hack job. the other option is to invest some cash, get yourself a tuning suite like EFIlive or HP Tuners and a wideband O2 controller and go at it. it's not impossible to learn

The clutch is fine, doesn't seem to be an issue.
This is the second tune the vehicle has had.
First one was with a Diablo tuner and the second and current tune is the HP tune.

It is most likely the tune or possibly some type of misfire.

Well.. If I am not wrong, your handling might be very careful enough with the car, but have you ever checked the engine and its frictions on the other motor parts? May be it is one of the reason to bog down..!
