OK...you can see where the amp is mounted on the other side by looking at the 4 screws. Reach behind there and you can feel the amp. Now reach forward to the front of the amp and feel for a flat knob. Just turn it clockwise...the factory setting is only half-way up. Crank it up!

I'm not home right now so I have a question to ask for now. If I do this, will this help the s***ty saturation sound coming out of the rear speakers? I don't see how. Someone just do a quick reassurance for me before I decide to blow my speakers out.

Since I have only have my GTO for a few weeks now, I am late to the party. I gave it a try. Cool, it works!

Now... Is there a knob like that for the engine (Not that I am complaining.

Motley Crue is Again Motley

That works wonders. My only real complaint was the radio (always cutting out at full tilt) Now it is a Primal Scream. Someone needs to tell the Dealers about this !

Did mine last night and no change parked. Turned it CW and it came up later than the stock setting. Went back CCW past center and then took it for a spin. Nice and loud. What this tells me is that we are adjusting the speed biasing of the amp. Stock setting would produce (this is just for illustration) 50w at 50mph. Adjusting amp/speed control would increase the wattage at the same speed. ie 80w at 50mph. My Gold Wing has this type of this and so does my Duramax. At least that's what it seems like to me. Either way...IT SOUNDS AWESOME DUDES AND DUDETTES. HI Dee!!!

There was no contortion involved. Simply pull the tabs holding the trunk material to the driver-side trunk wall, loosen the amp, make your adjustment, and reinstall...5 minutes tops.
