Bring it this way and I will help you slap that bod boy in. Are you going to take the Volant CAI a step forward by relocating the IAT and replace the associated thermistor that is more accurate and faster acting? With the Volant I think that I would just locate the IAT in the box (drill small hole in side of filter housing and seal with rubber grommet).

I just did a straight install. Went pretty good actually and looks awesome.

Cool, when i got mine it didn't have instructions, the box was crushed, and i had to drill holes in it to mount it to the car, and drill one hole for the MAF.

Also, be sure that you have it clear of the power steering pulley, mine hit on that.
