its all smoke and mirrors those types of things dont work at all. just like the tornado for carbed cars they just dont work. they try to get you to beleive the principle of a tornado in that a swirling mass of air will move through a tube faster. It just doesnt happen. you want straight as possible air flow through the intake and into the intake manifold. That ad contradicts itself it says it increases velocity and then it says it adds turbulance. which is it? lol turbulant air is bad it will not increase velocity 1 iota. straightening is good but swirling it in a helix (corkscrew) isnt going to get it done .
I loved the old stand by the snake oil salesmen used . theyd take two 2 liter bottles . 1 with water the other empty put them together at thier opening and show how badly the water flowed into the empty bottle but by the magic of a swirling motion the water moved quickly to the lower bottle.lol. this example is about providing a way to eliminate the higher air pressure in the lower bottle not how the swirling made the water flow faster. a vent in the lower bottle (much like the exhaust in your car)would net even faster flow .
Well the thoery isn't ALL myth, air in a vortex will move faster than in a strait line because it is able to fit more air per inch, or meter or whatever you want to use to measure it. The problem lies in that as he said, you make more HP with straiter less turbulant air entering the intake manifold...so the idea is to swirl the air, and then straiten it out....so you can see why its a load of bull.
its basically all bunk except for use in vacuums. the air in the outside of the vortex may move fast however the air has alot further to travel since its swirling .its all psuodo sceince . in the end it all about volume.you know the old saying the fastest path between 2 points is a straight line. swirling the air in an intake would actually give you less volume in the end than if you left straight flow through it. thats why none of these type devices are used sucessfully on cars. they have been disproved time and time again.
at least in a carbed setting you could at least agrue they may mix the fuel air ratio to a prefectly balanced stoic mixture but in a port injected engine thats rediculous to even imagine.

Yes, you need pushrods & a spring kit. All the normal cam upgrade stuff. I have aftermarket heads, which were pre-assembled with Patriot dual gold springs.
I've got all the other helpful supporting mods to go with the cam also, headers, ud pulley, etc...
