I say Steelers and Falcons in the Super Bowl with Pittsburgh taking it. I hate Philly, and New England....and would get a kick outta seeing Big Ben go undefeated in his rookie year. Plus the Steelers already being New England soundly

I'm voting for Philly and New England. Don't care which one wins.

I won't be too upset if Pittsburgh makes it even though I hated them as a kid.

The Falcons just don't deserve to win with a quarterback (if you can call him that) like Vick. Just look at that last game. 119 yards rushing and 88, I repeat 88 yards passing. He's a running back who if not pressured, can throw a ball. I can respect his ability to run but a quarterback that runs at the drop of a hat, lacks the vision to see the viablely open receiver and no patience to let his passing routes develop (and most routes in the West Coast offense are short) just doesn't have my respect. I think the Falcons would do better with Vick at RB where he could still throw a few passes and put a real QB in the line up.

Don't get me wrong. I think Vick is a great athlete. I just wouldn't want him as my quarterback and I certainly wouldn't want to be his offensive coordinator because my job wouldn't depend on my skill but his improvisation.

i second the hatred of McNabb being a Big Blue fan LOL
So like most Giants fans i dont want the eagles in the superbowl. Im rooting for the Falcons all the way. I think Vick is pretty cool and seems like a nice guy plus Atlanta dosent have a superbowl win yet. As for the AFC, i would prefer to see the steelers. I got to see the steelers play in person against the giants a few weeks ago and it was a great game, with the giants scoring first and holding the lead until the last 2 minutes when they lost it. Even though the steelers took up what i think was about 1/3 of giants stadium and were annoying with there yellow towls, i would still want them to beat the pats. I dont want to see boston win anything else, they already won the WS( and beat the Yankees ) as well as won the superbowl last year( were i was rooting for the panthers). To tell you the truth if it comes down to NE vs Philly ill probably prefer the eagles but it would stink.

I concur. The hype over Vick is ridiculous.

I can't see how you can say they don't the Falcons don't deserve it. Falcons were the #1 rushing team, Filthadelpia? #1 in nothing! Well, except for choking on the big one in the big one! I say it will be Atlanta vs New England.

ATLANTA FALCONS
Reg. Season W-L: 11-5 ---- Eagles 13-3 (gave away last 2 games)
Record on Road: 4-4 ----- Eagles 7-1 at home
Record on Grass: 3-2 ---- Eagles 10-2
Record Outdoors: 4-3 ---- Eagles 12-2
Vs. Playoff Teams: 3-1 --- Eagles 2-2

Alge Crumpler
Season Leaders:
M. VICK: 2,313 pass yds
W. DUNN: 1,106 rush yds
A. CRUMPLER: 774 rec. yds
P. KERNEY: 13.0 sacks
A. BEASLEY: 4 Int's and only 3 pass defelctions
Team Rankings:
Off. (rush/pass): 1 / 30
Def. (rush/pass): T-8 / 22

Jevon Kearse
Season Leaders:
D. MCNABB: 3,875 pass yds
B. WESTBROOK: 812 rush yds -- BUT also has over 700 passing yards.
T. OWENS: 1,200 rec. yds -- Out and Atlanta is very lucky he is.
J. KEARSE: 7.5 sacks -- Where is Trotter's stats? Better look out for him now.
L. SHEPPARD: 5 Int's with 9 pass deflections
Team Rankings:
Off. (rush/pass): 24 / 7
Def. (rush/pass): 16 / 12

If you look at this in terms of game play Eagles are a Passing team....and Atlanta is not too good on Pass Def. -- If the Eagles use the 8 man up and Contain the run...Atlanta is doomed cause Vick is not a passer and even if he does the 2 Corners are there to save the day.

As for the Eagles not being #1 at anything -- DUH they are #1 in the NFC

True.
I was refering to the stats, posted by the way to better educate you on the Falcons, show you that Vick is not all we got and to dismiss your statement that Atlanta didn't deserve to be there. Which leads me to question just who you think out of the NFC who deserves to be there more?

I hope McNabbs momma's can opener has a Turbo on it, cause I get the feeling it will be working overtime with all those hungry Eagles sitting on her couch come SuperBowl Sunday!

I am thinking it will be a all PA Super bowl.
Pitt and Philly.

Would like to see Atlanta and Pitt, but do not think Atlanta will get through the cold weather.

Im a Packer Fan , even if we did'nt look good this year.

I think Pitt will not have any issue with New England. They already were the ones who ended New England's winning streat this year

I never said they (Atlanta) did not deserve to be there...

But as for deserve more - The Eagles had more wins this season so they deserve to be there more. That simple.

The Eagles have a better overall team. I also think McNabb is a better QB than Vick.

People are just being skeptical because of the last 3 loses. At this point any commentator could say "The Eagles will lose". And be safe. If they win all the commentator would have to say is wow finally a win after 4 tries and everyone would forget he said they would lose.
