Vibrations

I have two unknown vibrations occuring in my car. The first is the shifter. When the engine is cold, it seems like the shift knob is vibrating. As soon as I grab the shift knob, the vibration stops. Do I need a new shift knob? The other vibration comes from first start up. Everytime I let the clutch out on first start up, i get a vibration from under the dash. It only does it once just after starting every time and it never happens again during driving. Is it just the ABS or something else resetting itself?
