Autocross grills

I just purchased a 04 GTO, yellow, auto, with only 12k. I'm looking for some answers to why one GTO would get a autocross grill and another would not. What does the grill represent. Would the non-autocross grill fit right in. If so where could I find some.
Also I have seen a few GTO with the "GTO" on the rocker molding just in front of the rear tire, was this an option, if so what do you guys think about them, and where could I find a set.

Can't answer you question on the grills but I think the GTO badge that you have seen on the rocker panel is from the Australian Holden Monaro GTO they are for sale on ebay au. (type in Monaro GTO) They are Quite expensve but have a look to see if they are what you have seen.
