I keep hearing that as a stand alone mod it doesn't make much more power than stock. For those running FI or H/C I would think it would be a good mod. I'm thinking of camming sometime in the future and may consider doing this intake as well at the same time. Got to work on the exhaust though first.

I would like you, like to hear from someone with it and what other mods they have supporting it.

I'd love to do it, but don't have that much cash laying around.

I have a FAST LSX intake on my ride, but I really can't comment on it because I did the intake at the same time as the heads and cam. However, I agree with Orbit Orange relative to slapping the FAST intake onto a basically stock engine. I don't think that you will experience the performance increases you would hope to see when spending in excess of $800. You are probably better off with a port matched LS2 intake and tune. You will certainly spend less money, or at least I did. Shoot! Last year I did the port matched LS2 intake with tune and picked up approximately 22 rwhp across the board. This was after the car had already been tuned previously. However, I do not know if it was the subsequent tune or port matched LS2 intake that gave me the 22 rwhp bump.
