mufflers

who makes the oem mufflers on the 2006 gto? also does flowmaster make a 40 series delta flow duel chamber for us. everytime i dial in it comes up as 10 series. thanks ralph

I don't know much about Flowmaster, but I seem to recall having read, on more than a single occasion, about GTO owners using 40-series mufflers on their rides. Subsequently, this leads me to believe that this muffler is available for our application.

i dont know about that, if you look on flowmasters website they dont even have a kit for the GTO still. i just heard people grabbing the 40 series as it recommends it as a universal muffler, they also mainly use them on the 60s muscle cars. honestly i wouldn't go with them cause of their lack of commtiment of making a system for the GTO.

Just an opinion here...but you will not find a muffler that sounds better than a 40 series Flowmaster. Period.

lol i second, their great on big block engines for trucks and suv's but i dont know for cars anymore, too many rustangs running them, why you want to sound like them?

well magnaflow aint no slouch too you know, its got a great loud echo at high rpms, and its low key at idle
