what price to expect out the door?

hi, ive been going back and forth on 2 cars for a few months now, and i ive been heavily leaning towards the gto. i was looking for a slightly used one but i went on the pontiac site and it list nj now as a state that has the 0% with some cash back. ive read a few posts of people claiming 25 to 27k on the westcoast? is that possible right now? thanks

on a new one, you could probably haggle down to 28 or so, but when you can get a virtually new one for around 21-24K I would do that. Since they are now out of production, dealers are either going to discount them and get them out, or hold on to them as collectors cars. New cars are a horrible waste of money. Buy one with 3000 miles on it and save 7 grand....IMO of course.

that was the original plan. but 26k with 0% for new vs. 22k with say 5.9% for used(typical rate) the payments are almost identical.
