Coming back from the book store stopped at a light next to a red BMW with twin split exhaust. I had my 17 year old daughter with me & we listening to some tunes. The location was really bad for a race so I just was sitting there talking to my kid & listening to the music. The Bimmer was a 4 door fairly large car. Not sure what model. We both start out form the light together & he nails it & jumps out ahead. I had traction control on but nailed it anyway. I jump back out ahead of him by about 1/3 car length as I did a quick scan for traffic & peds but before I could shift hit the rev limiter then nailed second & barkrd the tires. Pulled out over a full car length on him & had to shut down to be safe due to a car in my lane. He blew by me in the left lane but If there was more road I would have just pulled away. I looked over at my daughter, she was smiling, I said I couldn't help myself he started first.

The LS1 GTO, thank you GM!

I dont think it could have been a 325i, as those are fairly small cars, i'm swaying towards a Bmw 5 series car, as they are fairly large cars, or even go so bold as to think a possible 740ci or a 745i....almost all of the 5 and 7 series beemers are quick....but not quick enough, good kill bro

If it was a 4-door with dual exhausts it was most likely an M5

400hp/360tq, 3800 pounds

Nice kill, although they do put up better numbers than the GTO, maybe you got lucky

Maybe a 6 series...but I agree with the M5, or a modded 3 series.

sweet kill...before i bought my geeto I was decideing between my cousin's 540 sport(6 speed) that was coming off a 3 year lease with 11k miles(never driven) and a goat...because the 540 was in Michigan and I am in Texas I went to my local bmw dealer to get more acquainted with them and the salesman there showed me an m5 b/c they didn't have a 540 sport.....drove it around for 45 minutes..loved it!(400hp-who wouldn't?), but compared to a gto, $30.000 more didn't seem like a better value. After buying the gto, I am happy with the decision I made.
